Screen refresh problem occurring after a Windows Update

On our packaged products (FA-Panel / FA-Server), the Windows Updates released in early July 2024 listed below could cause the background of Panel Browser and Panel Editor to be drawn incorrectly. This has been fixed and released as the patch "VER6 Rev15.2". The patch can be downloaded here. (For how to update to the latest revision, please see here.)

  • 2024-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5040427)
  • 2024-07 Cumulative Update for Microsoft server operating system version 21H2 for x64-based Systems / Windows Server 2022 (KB5040437)
  • 2024-07 Cumulative Update for Windows Server 2019 (1809) for x64-based Systems (KB5040430)
  • 2024-07 Cumulative Update for Windows Server 2016 for x64-based Systems (KB5040434)

[Emergency workaround]
If the patch cannot be applied immediately, we have confirmed that uninstalling the affected Windows Update avoids the symptom. Reference material is available here (Japanese).
