This section describes common cases where communication with the PLC is not possible.
- When a communication error occurs, an error number may be returned from the PLC. In such a case, please refer to this page.
- If any of the tags defined in the folder are addressed outside of the area supported by the PLC, the communication of all tags in the folder will fail. First, check if you can communicate with only one tag. If you are able to communicate with only one tag, it is possible that the address of some tag is outside the area supported by the PLC.
- If you are connecting to multiple PLCs via Ethernet, and the first one connects but the other PLCs do not, the port numbers on the PC side may be conflicting. Please set a different port number on the PC side for each unit to be connected.
